I'm really on the fence of where to attend college. I am 18 and positive I want to become an orthodontist. I'm just not quite sure which college would be best for me for pre-dentistry. I have narrowed it down to either Grand Valley State University or Western Michigan University. I already got accepted to both. If someone could please help direct me as to which I should choose it would be greatly appreciated !
Is grand valley state university better for pre-dentistry (leading to ortho) or western michigan university?
I go to GVSU, and I am nowhere near any kind of medical major, but I can give you advice on GVSU in general if you want. I love it. I was also accepted to WMU and go to GVSU, no contest.
As far as pre-dentistry, look into which school has a better program and be more likely to get you placement into a dental school. If one school doesn't have a pre-dental program exactly, I would say not to bother. Get in contact with professors (look on the GVSU website and check the programs page)- I know GV profs are always willing to help you out. The main goal is to get into dental school, so see what has a better program. I know GV has a medical buliding downtown, so maybe their pre-med programs are good?
Good luck, and GO LAKERS! :)
Reply:I was a Bronco. I got kicked out. Try GVSU.
Reply:Dont go to Grand Valley they are full of stalkers Ive heard. And dumb blondes who dont know that if you are a minority your family will be too.
Reply:have you considered MSU or UofM? I am currently a freshmen at WMU and I don't really care for it.
