I am looking at a carrier in Dentistry.?

I want to be a Doctor in the future so I am looking at a carrier in Dentistry and would like to hear any comments people might like to share. I am open to any advice before finally taking the step and begin schooling.

- What requirements are there?

- What classes should I take being my first year in college if I want to proceed in becoming a dentist?

- Should I take Pre- Dentistry?

- What schools are good for the dental field?

- If any Dentist could give me there opinion on there line of work and if they are satisfied by it?

Dentistry is a wonderful field. If you like working with and helping people, you should seriously consider it. You need to have a good background in the sciences and have some decent hand-eye coordination.

Different dental schools have different requirements for application. You should contact the schools that you are interested in to determine their prerequisites. You should also speak with a guidance counselor at your school.

The American Dental Association's website (ada.org) has links to the US dental schools. They also accredit the different schools, so you can see the accreditation status of the schools.
Reply:MS is right. Follow the advice.
