Dentistry - How long wil it take to know if my tooth has died?
I recently got a blow to the mouth that has resulted to three of my teeth now not having any feeling in them (about 3 weeks ago). My dentist tells me that the teeth may have died due to nerve damage but said only time will tell - he couldnt tell me how long I should leave it before I would know if they wernt going to recover - any ideas?

If your teeth are sensitive to hot they are dying, if they are sensitive when biting together they could be dying(or have a cavity), cold sensitivity really isn't that huge of a red flag, sharp or dull pains, having to medicate(Motrin, etc.) due to the pain, are also signs they tooth is dying, abscessing is another sign, your dentist should have taken x-rays..........if he did and didn't see anything around the nerve or the PDL you will probably be fine, if he seen something, you should probably go to the endodontist for a consult, b/c more than likely those teeth are going to need a root canal and crowns......good luck!!

Dentistry you can set your own hours, choose your own staff and it is more specialzed in one area, however depending on what kind of doctor you are you could have your own clinic if you are specialized you could do the same, if you are a general practice doctor you are not as specialized and may have to work all kinds of hours and days, they are both a type of medicine it just depends on what type you are interested in

Well, when I graduated I went into the Air Force for 2.5 years [stationed in Alaska] and those were some of the best years of my life....lots of time to build up my speed and also to rotate through all of the specialties with no worries about overhead, staff, patient booking,etc. When you graduate from school you are proficient but sure can't work at the speed required to make a living. So, I recommend that highly [you do have to put up with some military craziness though]. The hardest part of my practice is the business aspect and running staff interference as the gals seem to develop petty problems. I'd say the hardest treatment to perform is 3rd molar extractions....I've finally started referring them all out. I also do very little perio surgery as patients HATE that. Good luck in your career!
Reply:If you don't plan to have kids, then miltary might be a good place. Most starting salaries are lower than you can do in Private practice. You might consider a career in military. I bought a practice %26amp; started right in at first %26amp; did wel,but i was a fast operator. led my class in the clinic. Some of the guys would have starved, they were so slow. I never cared for Perio or Ortho but loved the rest. Fees have become so ridiculous that you don't have to do much to make money. Don't try to get an appt on Friday or Sat in our town, %26amp; you can't get help in ER either just hurt till Mon. Yes I am retired now. when i ask a cohort why fees are so high they say cause the others do!! some will admit they are embarassed by the fees %26amp; let the girls sweat that. Best of luck, am afraid you will run into socialized dentistry fore long. What other option can ther be. Patients can't pay a hundred dollars for a simple extraction that i can do in 3 minutes easy DMD 32 yrs here

Dentistry help, few Query's?
I have on the bottom row of teeth both my first premolar's with a cavity in, they dont hurt at all, but they look and feel deep... but im no dentist lol.
There are also 3-4 minor enamal cavitys hardly noticeable.
And on my top row i have a cavity what has been treated with a metal filling.
Does anyone have any idea on how much it would cost and what i could have done...
First i want the filling gone, and it looking like a tooth not a tooth with abit of metal in it.
Secondly need the cavitys fixed...
Thirdly i have a few teeth just out of line, i had braces before and they did alot, these teeth have moved back since..
Forth I was looking in mirror and noticed a sort of scracth or crack in front tooth, i dont know if it is a crack but tooth feels fine and there is no crack on surface i cant feel it..

Is there any treat ment what can protect my teeth more, i brush my teeth 3 times a day after each meal, and i floss and use mouth wash...

first things first, are you registered with an nhs dentist, if you are then things wont be as much as they could be.
the premolars that need filling, under the nhs you can have them filled with white filling material.
the tooth with the metal filling, most dentists will not touch unless there is a problem with it, then you get the option of using white material privately (cost depends on your dental practise as all set own fees).
the front tooth may have a slight crack on the enamel, these can occur with general wear and tear of the teeth especially if you crunch on alot of hard foods. but i would get your dentist to check it out in-case there is something going on.
any other cavities i would ask the dentist about your options for filling materials, if they are not on the front 10 teeth top and bottom then you cannot get white under the nhs.
whitening may not be needed, and i would not have any fillings done until you have completed the whitening treatment but you would be looking to pay upwards of £1000 for a course and some can charge up to £6000. so i would ask your dentist what they charge. you may find that what you are seeing may only be staining from tea coffee red wine and curry (strong coloured foods/drinks) etc... so a trip to the hygienist may be all you need before you contemplate splashing out on expensive whitening, and if its is minor try the big chemists as they sell weaker whitening products that may just do the job for you.
as for your orthodontics, normally braces are carried out and finished before your body has stopped growing, so there is normally some movement, but also the human body naturally moves the teeth slowly forward over a long time as the grains that our ancient ancestors ate would wear down the teeth so they would move forward to fill the gap. this happens to everyone due to evolution but unfortunately for us we don't wear the teeth down now so it gets crowded instead. an orthodontist would treat you privately for this again the cost could be upwards of £1000 topping off at £6000 depending on what braces you choose and time needed, ask for a referral from your dentist.
there is not much you can do to protect your teeth more than just watching out that your not eating too may sugary foods/drinks and watch for fizzy drinks as they contain acid that can erode your teeth and of course acidic foods like lime and lemons. just think of everything in moderation not little and often but a little every now and again.

Cleaning and filling teeth cannot be as complicated an operation as it's made out to be, by any stretch of the imagination. The current situation in the UK is that millions are receiving "excessively sub standard care or none at all" with some even reverting to extracting their own teeth (stone age like) in desperation. If qualified doctors are beyond working for National Health rate of pay and there is no more left in the pot to give, then our dear "Labour" government, break away from the status quo and arrange some form of affordable alternative, it's your duty to manage. Help the poorer in society who probably voted for you in hope of better things to come and are feeling very let down by you. We hear you continually preaching "healthy options" no smoking, no exessive drinking , no this, no that, what could really be worse for a persons health than a mouthful of rotting teeth and maybe gum disease as well, so come on Labour Government what will you do about it, and when?

I have just recently finished with my internship program and i hold a bachelor's degree in dentistry from an Indian university{india}.I wish to know what I would need to do to continue in U.S.I know I will have to write exams but can I clear them and practice or I have to compulsorily study for a time.And if so do the no. of years depend on my score or the university decides it?..I have a good academic record with some rank certificates.Will that help in any case?How can i start working at the earliest after i reach there?I have heard of board exams with 3 attempts.And i can't join in any university alloted on application or random as i will be in one place.Take for example California...I Don't have much idea and i would be extremely thankful for some genuine help and answers.How can i make it all as easy as possible?I know its a hard way but im ready to go through.WAITING IN ANTICIPATION FOR SOME GOOD HELP.And i might go after a few months of job experience in the MIDDLE EAST.

Dentistry requires a solid background in math and sciences, so take as much math and science as you can. Remember, too, that dentistry requires that you do well in college, and the first place to start doing well in college is to do well in high school! So, be sure to as much English, history, social studies and other courses as you can.
The other thing that dentists do is interact with a lot of different people who may come from a broad range of social, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. So the more that you can be exposed to other people, learn to be comfortable talking and interacting with others the better.

we have a left-handed dentist at our clinic, he just sits on the other side.... no problem
Reply:chairs can be changed around so that they work with lefthanders, and at least at my dental school left handed faculty are always willing to teach and help the left-handers all of the fulcrum and sitting positions when using instruments. So i dont think its harder for them to use dental equipment at all

Reply:There are so many dentists/hygienists/assistants who are left-handed... and they 'function' just fine. The only difference is that they (providers) sit on the 'other' side of the chair (your left instead of your right). Some even prefer to sit behind your head... it's a preference.
The instruments are comfortable for both left- and right-handed users, as are the chairs and mechanical devices.... kind of like using a pencil~ it doesn't matter if you're left or right handed, you can still use it with ease.

Reply:chairs can be changed around so that they work with lefthanders, and at least at my dental school left handed faculty are always willing to teach and help the left-handers all of the fulcrum and sitting positions when using instruments. So i dont think its harder for them to use dental equipment at all

Reply:There are so many dentists/hygienists/assistants who are left-handed... and they 'function' just fine. The only difference is that they (providers) sit on the 'other' side of the chair (your left instead of your right). Some even prefer to sit behind your head... it's a preference.
The instruments are comfortable for both left- and right-handed users, as are the chairs and mechanical devices.... kind of like using a pencil~ it doesn't matter if you're left or right handed, you can still use it with ease.

It's really up to you. What have YOU wanted to do since you were younger? No one else can make that decision for you. Since I was younger I knew I wanted to be a teacher. So now, I'm going to school to get my degrees in education and social studies so I can become a high school teacher in a public school.
Only "I" made that decision because I knew that is what I wanted to do.
Talk to counselors at school and ask them questions. But you can't expect them to make up your mind for you. They'll just tell you what you need to know about the 2 professions you are interested in.

I have a friend who is going into pharmacy....let me tell you the pay is great....and as far as I know you always have someone there to ask questions to where as dentistry you usually just go off on your own. If I had to choose I would have to say Pharmacy because it has to do with helping people a lot in an area people don't think they need help in...or are more comfortable asking the pharmacist than the doctor....Dentistry to me is awkward with the customers and I don't think people appreciate you enough...the see you as a money sucking wombat lol...and some are...well it just costs a lot and you are seen as the bad person.

Nothing to worry about, not only am I left handed, but I am ALSO a dentist! Your office and procedure equipment can be easily adapted to fit those of us who are left handed. Good luck!
Reply:Do you plan to be a dentist or work in the office as an auxillary (hygienist, assistant)? If you are the dentist you will make all the equipment fit a left-handed person. If you are just working as an auxillary it can be slightly harder. It depends on how the rooms are laid out. There are several left-handed hygiene students in the program I work with.

Reply:I agree with daisy. I've been through quite a lot. Including a dentist that pushed way too much filling into a root canal. That doesn't sound qualified to me either. Had to go to an orthodontist to get it fixed.
Reply:Yes some people are giving really bad advice, but you know what? I am a hygienist and I think I have enough knowledge to answer questions about more than "gums". You know we do study more than just periodontal disease. Dentists, hygienists, and certified assistants (in some states) must have a certain number of continuing education every licensing renewal period. Some professionals take the easy way out, but others learn more than just what they have to. I bet there are quite a few hygienists and assistants that know more about dentistry than some dentists!
And anyways, if you have a serious dental issue, you shouldn't be taking anyones advice on a yahoo group, you should make an appointment with a dentist. If you want to ask a question, you must take what you get. You can always see who your dentist agrees with.
Oh and dentists don't study dentistry for 8 years. They go through 'regular' college for 4 years and then go on to dental school for 4-5 years. If they studied dentistry for 8 years then you truely see a specialist with some extra post graduate education!

Reply:Obviously you are not a dentist, because if you were you would know that yes, you do go to school for eight years. However, the first four years are focused on a biology/health based batchelor's degree and the remaining four are actually the dental program if you can obtain an accepable DENMAT score and be lucky enough to be accepted to a dental school. You would only attend a dental school program for eight years if you were advancing in the dental field in a speciality such as an orthodontist, periodontist, pedodontist, endodontist or oral surgeon. You are correct that dental assistants do not have degrees but, yes, certified dental assistants do attend classes through technical schools just like your auto mechanic and are required to pass board exams administered by their state before they can legally assist a doctor. They must also be certified to take and develop x-rays. This is another class that must be taken and an additional board exam that must be passed. Hygienist are required to take specific college classes for approximately two years before entering any hygiene program. Potential hygienist go through a rigorous screening process before being accepted in the program and only the best of the best are chosen. Depending upon the school they either complete a two year certificate or three year batchelor's program.
Regardless, they too must pass regional board exams before they can practice. Their education far exceeds "about gums and that's it."
I do agree with you that some do offer "nonsense" as an answer to questions however, some answers are correct. Only those of us with the proper education or those with personal experiences should reply.

Hygenist are qualified to answer questions about dentistry. I mean, what those people asking on this forum isn't that complicated to answer, especially for hygienists and assistants. They are answering many of the same questions at work. I know, 'casue people ask me and I have to be knowledgable enough to answer.

Reply:from the paintball puppy.my question was designed to stir things up here in the uk where we pay our taxs and other money into our national health service which is supposed to provide free health care.it is increasingly more difficult for people to register for nhs dentists,as more and more do private work for which those who can afford pay.this means that in effect the health service is letting down a lot of people(especially the less well off)who have paid upfront through taxation only to be asked to pay again.and it aint cheap.
so it is not a case of setteling for 2nd best or creossing the border to mexico(bit far from here)just people being given what they have paid for.

I have a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, a four-year couse of study. The courses I took in college were, to name just a few, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, General and Oral Pathology, General and Oral Histology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Oral Diagnosis, Periodontology, Local Anesthesia and Oral Analgesia, etc. After taking those courses and having my hands in people's mouths more days than not over the past 22 years, I think I am fully qualified.

This is such a risky business to those asking questions, yet with no risk to those giving advice.
I hope people give good thought to the answers to these sometimes VERY important questions about their health and possibly their life before taking these answers seriously.
In fact, please go see a doctor, dentist, or other medical professional before truly heeding the advice proffered in this venue. Your health is not worth risking on urban legends supplied by someone who only knows enough to hurt you.
I should know, I'm a doctor...or am I? You'll probably never know!

Reply:I agree with daisy. I've been through quite a lot. Including a dentist that pushed way too much filling into a root canal. That doesn't sound qualified to me either. Had to go to an orthodontist to get it fixed.
Reply:Yes some people are giving really bad advice, but you know what? I am a hygienist and I think I have enough knowledge to answer questions about more than "gums". You know we do study more than just periodontal disease. Dentists, hygienists, and certified assistants (in some states) must have a certain number of continuing education every licensing renewal period. Some professionals take the easy way out, but others learn more than just what they have to. I bet there are quite a few hygienists and assistants that know more about dentistry than some dentists!
And anyways, if you have a serious dental issue, you shouldn't be taking anyones advice on a yahoo group, you should make an appointment with a dentist. If you want to ask a question, you must take what you get. You can always see who your dentist agrees with.
Oh and dentists don't study dentistry for 8 years. They go through 'regular' college for 4 years and then go on to dental school for 4-5 years. If they studied dentistry for 8 years then you truely see a specialist with some extra post graduate education!

Reply:Obviously you are not a dentist, because if you were you would know that yes, you do go to school for eight years. However, the first four years are focused on a biology/health based batchelor's degree and the remaining four are actually the dental program if you can obtain an accepable DENMAT score and be lucky enough to be accepted to a dental school. You would only attend a dental school program for eight years if you were advancing in the dental field in a speciality such as an orthodontist, periodontist, pedodontist, endodontist or oral surgeon. You are correct that dental assistants do not have degrees but, yes, certified dental assistants do attend classes through technical schools just like your auto mechanic and are required to pass board exams administered by their state before they can legally assist a doctor. They must also be certified to take and develop x-rays. This is another class that must be taken and an additional board exam that must be passed. Hygienist are required to take specific college classes for approximately two years before entering any hygiene program. Potential hygienist go through a rigorous screening process before being accepted in the program and only the best of the best are chosen. Depending upon the school they either complete a two year certificate or three year batchelor's program.
Regardless, they too must pass regional board exams before they can practice. Their education far exceeds "about gums and that's it."
I do agree with you that some do offer "nonsense" as an answer to questions however, some answers are correct. Only those of us with the proper education or those with personal experiences should reply.

Hygenist are qualified to answer questions about dentistry. I mean, what those people asking on this forum isn't that complicated to answer, especially for hygienists and assistants. They are answering many of the same questions at work. I know, 'casue people ask me and I have to be knowledgable enough to answer.

Reply:from the paintball puppy.my question was designed to stir things up here in the uk where we pay our taxs and other money into our national health service which is supposed to provide free health care.it is increasingly more difficult for people to register for nhs dentists,as more and more do private work for which those who can afford pay.this means that in effect the health service is letting down a lot of people(especially the less well off)who have paid upfront through taxation only to be asked to pay again.and it aint cheap.
so it is not a case of setteling for 2nd best or creossing the border to mexico(bit far from here)just people being given what they have paid for.

I have a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, a four-year couse of study. The courses I took in college were, to name just a few, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, General and Oral Pathology, General and Oral Histology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Oral Diagnosis, Periodontology, Local Anesthesia and Oral Analgesia, etc. After taking those courses and having my hands in people's mouths more days than not over the past 22 years, I think I am fully qualified.

It's 33 and $100k in debt too old and too broke to go back to school for dentistry?
i am very unfulfilled in my field. at 33 years old with lots of debt and a 2 year old daughter i am not so sure if it is too late to switch my destiny around and go to back to school for dentistry. am i nuts to think that i will make it?

You're not nuts. You just need a solid plan. You're not too old to go back to school, but considering the amount of debt you have and the fact that you have a 2 year old to support, you'll need a map of how to get into and through dentistry school and still be able to support your family. You might consider a few things:
1. Talk to a debt conselor to see if you can reduce your current debt.
2. Do you know any dentists who might be willing to advise and mentor you in this pursuit? You'd definitely want to have some support in this area.
3. Is dental school something you can pursue while still holding down a job? If not, you'll need to line out your options for income during your schooling.
4. Start looking online for scholarships and grants for folks going back to school. You might find some money that will help you pay for dental school.
Books, magazines, and the radio are full of stories of people who've decided to change their lives and do something that might seem "nuts" and many of them have been very successful. You can do this if you want to.

My earnings post university have been multiples of my pre-university income... easy to say in retrospect.

I would love to have the fulfillment of playing with my daughter at such a young age and watching her grow to realize her potential. Daddy's girl doesn't stay 2 long. Then after school debt is %26lt; to 6 figs or 5 figs reconsider a higher professional degree. I already assume you are a professional to be interested in going into dentistry in the first place.

I use Chrest Whitestrips and I absolutely love them! Ok, but besides what I like, here's what I can tell you. Most whitening toothpastes don't work andt he ones that do work...they take too long to make a difference. Cosmetic whitening can be expensive. Chrest whitestips WORK! After using them about two times, you can tell a difference. They are kind of expensive...about $25-$35 depending on which kind you get, but they both work great. If money is your concern, try the less expensive one. It's kind of weird at first to feel something stuck to your teeth for 30 minutes. And I suggest that when you take them off you have the toothbrush with toothpaste ready. Don't lick your teeth after you take the strips off cuz the gel is NASTY! Plus...some people, not all, experience soft teeth after using it. It just feels like your teeth are soft and weak. But I never experienced that. I still use them, not everyday though. Just when I'm going out and I want my teeth to look good. Because let me tell you...yellow teeth is a BIG turn off. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Is the Canadian DDS valid in the USA? And How is Dentistry Schooling?
Hey I was wondering how it would work if I were to get a DDS degree from Canada and moved at some point during my life to USA? Would I have to take an exam or redo everything?
Another quick question regarding schooling, I asked earlier. During the 4 years studying dentistry, do you still keep a summer off? Any courses during the summer? I was told you do clinical work during the summer but how does that work for first year considering you probably aren't qualified to work on a patient?

Summers depend on the school but I would say that most have the summer off. Any school that is accredited in Canada is also accreditted for the USA and vice versa so any dentist from a Canadian school can work in the USA and vice versa. The only thing you need to do is pass the USA board exams which is not hard, and then pass the regional board exams depending on where you want to go. Even if you go to a school in the US you need to pass the same exams before you can work so there is no differance except the tuition at school in Canada is like half as much if not less than half.

I would really like a host of professional opinions on the following exam question taken from my final Clinical Dentistry exam. It's a no-brainer, but for some bizarre reason 4/6 points were scored 'incorrect'. I wish to consult my examiner and discuss.
The question was: "List the intra-oral signs of an incorrect brushing technique" (4).
My answer:
- evidence of cervical abrasion
- receeding gingiva
- inflamed gingiva
- gingival bleeding
- plaque buildup
- calculus
The examiner marked 4 of those incorrect, however, after researching further I've found all of the above to be intra-oral signs of incorrect brushing technique. Please would you comment / confirm below? Thank you in advance. Jon

So I agree with your answers. The only one that I see as somewhat questionable is Calculus.

First, you need to volunteer in an office to handle odds and ends and to observe the dentist. This is really the only way you'll be able to tell if it's for you. I originally wanted to be a pediatrician, but the lifestyle of sleeping with a pager under my pillow did not appeal to me (I had to spend some time with a pediatrician to figure this out, too). The dental profession in the U.S. still has control over itself. The insurance companies and malpractice premiums have not taken over the profession as they have done in medicine. Being a dentist is a GREAT melting pot of science and art. You can help people and get paid very well for it. I've been doing dentistry for 7 years, and after some VERY intense growing pains (mostly in dental school and residency) I couldn't be happier doing it for a living. I hope this helps.

I never even wanted to be a cowboy or a fireman. Over the years, I did not abandon this childhood wish, because as I learned more and more about the profession, it seemed to match my artistic abilities and the desire to help people.

I love my job and I like to create a friendly relaxed atmosphere as I know that so any really find it hard to cope with. Seeing nervous patients get better at coping really boosts me and makes my job even more enjoyable.

I'm an undergrad at UT-Austin planning on applying to dental school in a few years. It seems to me that I'm taking a risk by going this route, since I don't know what I'll do if I don't get into dental school. Are there any other ways to get into dental school later on? I've heard that you cna get a degree in dentistry once you get into grad school. How?

Reply:Depends on what you want to specialize in and how far you already are in your studies. You can be a DDS (doctor of dental science, I think) an Oral Surgeon, an Orthodontist to name the few that I know. Contact the college where you want to study and ask for an admissions advisor. Make sure their program is acredited by the proper authorities in your state before you begin.

You can be a DDS (doctor of dental science, I think) an Oral Surgeon, an Orthodontist to name the few that I know. Contact the college where you want to study and ask for an admissions advisor. Make sure their program is acredited by the proper authorities in your state before you begin.

How many college credits do you need to graduate with a BS degree in pre dentistry?
im just starting college this year, im taking a load of biology and chemistry classes because i plan on majoring in these areas, to get ready for dental school. im going into pre-dentistry.
im taking 12-13 credits this semester
i plan on taking 18 next semester, 18 in the summer, and 18 in fall and spring of the following 2009 year. thats a whopping total of 85 credits if im right...
which means that in two years i could have my Associates degree in pre dentistry, is that right?
im confused though, about how many credits i neeed to get a B.S. degree in pre dentistry. isnt it around 120-130?
and is it possible for me to get my B.S. degree in 3 years flat...if i work my *** offf and get 18 credits per semester?

Your experience with Oral Sedation in children's dentistry?
My 8 1/2 year old son with autism is going to have dentistry work done where they will administer oral sedation along with nitrous oxide and local anestehesia. The last time he had extensive dental work done, we was administered iv sedation and was totally asleep. What has been your experience with your child and the oral sedation? Do they feel alot? How awake are they? I was told alot of children will go to sleep (which is what I would prefer). Any tips or stories would be greatly appreciated!

She is the only doctor in the area who will work with handicapped and autistic children (and adults) and she doesn't use sedation on them either. She said most dentists use the sedation on children just to make it easier for them and charge more money. If you find a good dentist the sedation won't be necessairy.
I've had experience with nitrous oxide when I had my wisdom teeth out. It just makes you really loopy. With the novacaine you won't feel anything except for the prick shot to inject it.
I really do think you should look into finding a local specialist to work with you and your son so that he won't need to be sedated. Being in a pediatric office, I know it can be done since we work with children all day everyday.
If you let me know what area you are in I could ask the doctor if she knows of anyone good in your area.

I had it three or four times, and every time I would have HORRIBLE dreams/visions. One time I can remember seeing this huge motor in the room, it was just there and nothing else in the room was present, and my vision was focusing in on it. It was this huge steel motor, I don't know why I saw it but it really scared me.
The only other one I can remember was when I was a little older, maybe around 9 or 10. I was getting a tooth pulled and he administered the NO again. I was like oh great...so he put it over my nose and after a few minutes it takes effect...this was very strange, but my field of vision split into four pieces, each of them moving diagonally, away from the center, in small squares. In the spaces in between the squares, it looked just like outer space - it was all black and I could see stars shimmering. It was crazy. I actually freaked out and pushed the mask off my face and they had to put it back on. It was so strange seeing split up sections of my vision slowly come back together...
Man I'm glad I don't have to get that stuff anymore. But not everyone has bad dreams, some just have weird ones - which I guess mine just were, but they freaked me out nonetheless.

I can say it was the best dental experience of my life. I was prescribed the pills, and took them upon arrival at the dentist's office so I could be monitored. When I was getting drowsy they took me back to the room, where I was also given nitrous oxide. I felt the first shot going into my gum, and remember them saying, off and on, "Open your mouth," or "Keep it open." And that's all. I woke up and was done.
Just be careful afterward, because he will sleep for a while before the drugs wear off. The pills I was given, Halcion, made me forget everything about the experience. They also made me very clusmy afterward.
I'd do it again in a second, if I had to get more work done. It costs more, but it's worth it for a good experience.

IT'S A STEP BY STEP PROCESS. THERE ARE STAGES TO ALL OF IT.
I DID NOT THINK OF IT AS 4 YEARS OF HELL AFTER UNDERGRAD, BUT I JUST TOOK IT ONE DAY AT A TIME, AND KEPT SEEING MYSELF GRADUATING AS A DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY.
LOOKING BACK THOSE YEARS SEEM LIKE A DROP IN THE BUCKET.

I am a dental assistant going to school for dental hyegien, because I don't want to end up with a 300,000 dollar loan, And dental hyegien is a great field.

If you have doubts, investigate about it, study it a year, if you don't like it in this time, forget it. But it's very difficult, you have to spend a lot of time studying, you'll see your friends having a future, couple, kids, money, job, and you'll continue been a student.
