What are the high school courses needed as preparation for a major as a doctor of dentistry?

I am doing a research project on careers. The career I have chosen is 'Doctor of Dentistry.' I have A LOT of questions. PLEASE contact me if you have answers!!!!!

What are the high school courses needed as preparation for a major as a doctor of dentistry?
Read a lot, learn to study well, and try to take in a broad range of experiences as a high school student.

Dentistry requires a solid background in math and sciences, so take as much math and science as you can. Remember, too, that dentistry requires that you do well in college, and the first place to start doing well in college is to do well in high school! So, be sure to as much English, history, social studies and other courses as you can.

The other thing that dentists do is interact with a lot of different people who may come from a broad range of social, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. So the more that you can be exposed to other people, learn to be comfortable talking and interacting with others the better.
Reply:upper level math and science - especially biology, chemistry, and advanced algebra.

(I'm just so relieved to find a responsible teen here!)

Best of luck to you.
