What is a good major for dentistry?

im most definitely going to major in a science: biology or biochemistry, most likely the latter, so i can have an excellent understanding if/when i get accepted in dental school. i'd also like to major in another subject, though, because i want to be a well rounded individual, and i'd like to integrate it with my career in dentistry.

what are some potential and beneficial subjects that i should look into?

i will only be starting my second year of college in the fall.

all respectable, intelligent answers are much appreciated :) thank you

What is a good major for dentistry?
My dentist majored in chemistry with a minor in biochemistry; he is also quite a talented artist, which is highly desirable in a dentist. He has a highly successful practice in Beverly Hills.

Consider a minor in business, since dentists are businesspersons, too.

I'd seriously think twice about a minor in literature or Engish. Just imagine having to read a 600 page book and complete a 50 page paper while trying to get As in chemistry and biochemistry. You'd have to be a masochist to try that!
Reply:Biochemistry is an excellnet choice. For a second major consider art or music. Helps to keep you well-rounded and gives you something to relax, denistry can be stressful.
Reply:for your second major, you can consider a major that will help your writing, like english or comparative literature. if you decide to do any research, good writing skills will definitely help you with reports and write good letters to get funding.
