I think God will lead you and place you where HE wants you to be. Continue your studies in Dentistry. You are doing excellent at your age. You remind me of my daughter who at 20 is in her first year of Law. Now, if Ministry is your calling, continue to share your faith with those you come in contact with and when the time is right, HE will find a place to put you into. Maybe your calling is in 3rd world countries. You can take care of their dental and spiritual needs. Take care to finish your degree now and let life take its course. You are young. It will happen.
Reply:you might be there for a reason...god will work out the rest maybe by helping your classmates that is your purpose ....pray and he will answer and lead you in the direction ... no one on line can help you seek this out ..only god can
Reply:What strikes me as really fantastic is the amount of confidence you have in yourself. The fact that you want you help humanity is commendable. I am intrigued as to the nature and source of your knowledge and wisdom.

As far as where to begin i think the internet is the only medium where you can reach millions of people instantaneously. Get yourself a website, encourage people to write to you with their problems, i am sure you would be able to address a very large audience this way.

Lastly i am sure that you are very wise but never forget the duties you have towards yourself. I was caught in such a philosophical dilemma some time ago as to the reason of my existence, after a lot of analytical thinking it seems that we are already doing what we were meant to do in the world, maybe without realising it.

Best of luck in your endeavors, i would like to hear about your progress .
Reply:First of all, I must admit that even though dentistry is a highly useful as well as lucrative field, spirituality as an option can be better.

You need to be careful. Watch out, your urge and a certain level of confidence to become a spiritual preacher could well be some sort of escapism. You need to first make sure that your personality is more of stability, calm, inward orientation etc. In any case, even in the field of spirituality, an internship of, say, 5-6 years is a must prior to operating on your own.
Reply:start investigating religions
Reply:Go ahead and become a preacher, you'll make more money, work less, live in one of those big houses paid for the congregation, drive limousine paid for the congregation, and marry a beautiful girl from the congregation, and you can even have affairs with girls from the congregation and nobody will ever find out,go ahead and because you are speaking the word of god you'll have a free pass to haven... You know what??? you better have a back up job, you seem too honest to be a preacher
Reply:Well....it seems you are in certain dilemma just like "to be or not to be". Considering the student's age, it is happen to be there once one comes near to his or her destination of the course. As you're saying that its your 3rd year and surely in a year or two you would be most eligible doctor in your zone....and thats the main purpose of your obtaining this prestigious degree. I think your parents too are expecting something like that from you. As far as your urge to become a preacher, all I would like to say here that it is absolutely not necessary to get yourself in Himalayan kind of preaching training or institution for congregation. Its great that you wish to share your knowledge and experiecnes with the people everywhere, but you can help them by way of your profession too....Society wants something from your knowledge in dentistry and definitely people wont throng outside your home for having preaching from you. They will have other options for that cause. So, sincerely if you wish to make people to live happy and satisfied, concentrate (at least for the time being) entirely on your studies....get the distinction in medical science and faculty....then start thinking over your wish alongwith material achievement as a knowledgeable doctor. Best Luck.
Reply:divya ! spiritual thought is a boon to ones life. you are lucky to have the feeling. however, i advise you to do yours studies as usual as Arjuna did his duty as warier in Mahabharata war for peace and prosperity of human kind, guided by Lord Sri Krishna. then share your feelings with like minded persons for better results. good luck.
Reply:well i too think you would be better to finish your denistry ! it would be mad not too

you could make a specialty of putting silver religios icons in teeth !

and become a volenter else where !
Reply:Instead of giving up your education, i think you should finish it and then go to countries who could use your help with dentistry. Don't preach, it does not work...you are better of actually doing something for people in need.
