AP Bio, AP Chem (chemicals in dentistry), Anatomy (the human body)....good luck!
Reply:If your high school is like the one I teach at then it will offer a decent amount of AP and/or IB science classes. I would highly recommend taking those. Also an anatomy class is great if there is one. I would also advise taking any other college prep classes available because when you get to college you will need at least a good working knowledge in all your subject areas to excel in your undergrad work and get in to a good school. But that is just my opinion.
Reply:AP courses should be considered. A good plus is that you can get the jump on prerequisite courses that you would usually take as part of your undergraduate career in college. For example, taking the AP test for Calculus AB and passing it means that you can skip the first quarter (or semester) of Calculus in college and take the next quarter/semester instead. Provided your college accepts your score in lieu of the class, you have one less class to take. Still, don't overload on APs...you'll have enough to worry about later (e.g., SATs, applications); concentrate on graduating high school with a good GPA.

With regards to dentistry school, make sure you pay attention to your science courses. To give you an idea of what you can look forward to, check out http://www.dentistry.umn.edu/programs_ad...
