Dentistry or biomedical science?

Which is a better field, dentistry or biomedical science? Which job is more promising and has growth?

Dentistry or biomedical science?
I would say biomedical science.

Dentistry is steady work, but there is a lot of investment to start a practice and a lot of worries over malpractice insurance, competition, recruiting patients, etc. And there isn't much opportunity to switch to a new career path if the dentistry isn't working out. Nor is it easy to move to a new area and find a new job.

Biomedical science is a growth industry, and there are a lot of niches in the overall field. You could also pursue a career in biomedical science and switch to a different aspect of it if the first wasn't working out. And the skills you will have are useful anywhere in the world at a moments notice, so you could move to lots of places to follow your chosen career, to advance your family's future, or to follow your spouse to their new job.
Reply:if by growth and promise you mean breakthrough research then go for biomedical science, but if by growth and promise you mean financially, you probably have a better chance going into dentistry. good luck!
